This role will report to our Advice & Guidance Director and lead Advice & Guidance activities (both off-shore and in-country) for the Canada market to deliver exceptional support to Line Managers and Employees on a wide range of people activities. Responsible for providing best in class service as the first point of contact and gate for the HR related queries.
What you'll do
Manages HR Services advisory and support delivery in Canada, delivering HR programmes and plans that support the organisation’s objectives and incorporate the mid to long term business and GBS/HR strategic priorities.
Plays a key connecting role in service delivery between GBS HR Services Towers (Advice & Guidance, Workforce Data Services, Talent Acquisition Operations, and Global Payroll & Time).
Drives automation and simplification of processes
Responsible for service performance and mitigate issues (within the Tower).
Collaborates closely with HR colleagues regionally to share best practice, drive ideas forward and ensure consistent of service
Manages the day-to-day operational running of the My HR Services in Canada.
Ensures delivery of HR support to the business through tickets.
Evaluates the SLA, C-SAT and other quality data to ensure delivery according to set targets.
Interacts with local stakeholders to assure the right level of service is delivered from the team and customers have the right level of expectations.
Drives the GBS HR Services Team to prioritise content and performance of Ask AZ Portal, increasing self-service and decreasing case deflection.
Finds opportunities for the My HR Advisory Team to improve the employee and manager experience around ‘Moments that Matter.’
Works with management to understand business priorities and tailor HR support to local requirements.
Mentors more junior staff and identified talent for development.
Essential for the role
Human Resources experience with knowledge in Ontario Employment Standards Act and other relevant Canadian employment laws
Experience and confidence in working with and managing senior stakeholders across the business
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Experience with Workday and ServiceNow
Independent and collaborative worker
Desirable for the role
Post-graduate HR Qualification
Fluency in written French
Experience with PowerBI, and emerging HR digital/automation tools
Professional HR qualification
Annual base salary for this position ranges from $86,412.80 to $113,416.80. AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.
In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role). Benefits offered for permanent roles include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, and annual Personal Days. Fixed Term Contract/Temporary positions (excluding students) are offered a Contract Benefits Program.
